Summary
Ezan – Prayer Times ("Ezan") does not collect, store or share any personal data. The app has no account, ads, analytics or trackers.
Location
If you allow location access, your location is used only on your device to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction. It is never sent to a server. You can also pick your city by hand without granting access.
Notifications
Adhan and reminder notifications are scheduled on your device; no push server is used.
Compass and motion sensors
The qibla compass reads the device's heading sensors on the device, and only while the screen is open.
Maps
When you open the map view on the qibla screen, map tiles are loaded from Apple Maps. Those requests are covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Widgets
The times shown by the widgets are stored in the app's shared container on your device and never leave it.
Feedback
If you use Settings → Send feedback, your mail app opens with the app version, device model and iOS version added to the message. The email reaches us only if you send it, and is used only to reply to you.
Children
Ezan collects no data from users of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the current version will be published on this page.
